I mean, I searched first before I decided to put one and I saw a lot of people selling, so I thought people want to buy it for the look, but now I think of it, maybe people just list them hoping to trick newer / uninformed buyers? Even though I didn’t do anything wrong and the trade didn’t actually happen, I kinda feel bad to the guy and I don’t want to (unintentionally) fool another buyer in the future. So I’m just curious, has this ever happened to anyone before, as seller / buyer? I may just take the item off my listing if this happens a lot. Fortunately I explained it before the trade happened, not after. Couple hours later he cancelled his offer without saying anything. Anyway, after some thoughts I took initiative sending further messages, explaining to him that what I sell is a normal base item Shako, with 2 sockets, not the unique item Harlequin Crest, which people often call Shako (which can’t have 2 sockets anyways, but newer people might now know that). But on traderie if you search shako you get the base item, if you want harlequin crest you should search for harlequin crest instead. As a new player myself (well I play D2 on and off since year 2000 but never play online until D2R), I only know recently when people say shako usually they mean harlequin crest, not the base item. But then I saw his trade history is less than 10, means he could be new to the game or the website. The guy wasn’t online when I accepted his offer so I sent him message to let me know when he can do the trade. Today I received 2 offers and I accepted one. Checked the price other people listed and set my price lower than those. I put some base items up for sale on traderie, and one of them is a normal shako with 2 open sockets.
